This site is about equipping and encouraging YOU to be the HERO of the story GOD’S planned for you.
Hi, I’m Rodney Combs, Ph.D., writer, pastor, coach, and journeyer.
I love Jesus and have dedicated my life to following him and helping others do the same.
I see myself as a journey guide, who’s still growing and learning and wants to support your success.
I write, speak, and coach to invite you and guide us to journey with Jesus better.
We often muddle life and even mess up our Christian faith. We get confused and cluttered and think we’re on our own. But God wants more for us.
Life is meant to be simple, significant, and satisfying. Jesus came to open the door to such a life and to walk with us through that door. The Bible is the story of God working with messy and beautiful people–rescuing those who give their allegiance to him, transforming those who are willing into Christlikeness. He’s still doing that.
The life he offers isn’t simplistic but simple.
It’s not meaningless but significant.
It’s sacrificial, but the cost leads to the deepest satisfaction possible.
Jesus stated his mission clearly, even while reminding us of troubles and temptations, suffering, and an aggressive enemy.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10, NIV).
“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”(John 16:33)
We won’t fully realize the best of life until he returns, but there is a whole lot more to experience before then along the journey.
Are you curious about Jesus? I’d like to answer your questions and pray for you. You might want to read about how to begin a relationship with Jesus.
Are you a Christ-follower but want to move forward in a more life-giving relationship? Are you eager to experience the life God’s planned for you? I hope my writings will pave the way. Please let me know if I can personally help in any way.
I love to write and speak about this journey. So if you’re interested in hearing what I have to say, I invite you to read my blog or invite me to speak and spend time together.
